Awhile back I had read a thread about "front pocket" wallets and this model was recommended. It was designed to store several credit cards in slots and dollar bills in the 2 sided center compartment. It also had a windowed pocket for an ID. I am unable to locate a source for this wallet through all my searches. Does anyone know of a source for the Swiss Army Victorinox leather products? Thanks for any feedback!

I have had mine for about 3 years and use it as an every day wallet. I have looked and looked and looked, and I have not found anything better. I think the wallet is fantastic. The only word of caution I would provide is that the wallet gets a bit expanded with too many bills in it. I carry very little cash so this is not a problem for me. But if you always carry many bills, you may want to go with a money clip in addition to the wallet.

In general, I have always found Yahoo! shopping to be a great place to find and price products, and for the Swiss Army products in particular, I have found Dom's Outdoor Outfitters to be a great place with great prices. I have ordered from them before without problem.

Here are the links to the wallet at Dom's in Italian and Napa leather. I would recommend the Italian as it only costs a bit more and mine has held up extremely well.

Italian for $24.99 http://www.domsoutdoor.com/cgi-bin/cgiitmls?m=ThisP&p=9.041653&l=2

Napa for $18.99 http://www.domsoutdoor.com/cgi-bin/cgiitmls?m=ThisP&p=9.045224&l=2

Bucky: Thanks for the link and detail of info. I carry a wallet daily but have found over the years that I only use it to hold my credit cards, etc. I always have a wad of bills in my front pocket. I thought it might be nice to just carry the Civilian with just an ID and a few credit cards.
Thanks again! Dave
