The Swiss Army Knife Owner's Manual, by Michael M. Young.

I received this book today, and must sat that, IMO, this is one of the best and most informative knife books, and the definitive book regarding SAKs. It tells the histories of both Victorinox and Wenger, the knives, use and care, materials and manufacture, comparing manufacturers, repairs and modifications, improvised and unexpected uses, true stories, and more.

BTW, I have no connection to the book...in fact, I only heard about it a few days ago before ordering it online. I thought it might be of interest to others here.

Thanks for making this post. I was hesitant to buy it at first when I realized that the author would ship it from his home. I found it and purchased it from a major online retailer. The next morning I received 2 emails, one from the author and one from the retailer, stating that the book had shipped. I received my copy in the mail three days later. Thanks again, Joe.

I just got my copy. Lots of information in those pages. He really did his homework.

Ya I waited to buy it for a long time too when I saw it was self published. But then after hearing good things I picked it up and Im glad I did, great read if you are a SAK enthusiast, as it is for sure written by someone who loves SAKs and has alot of info.

I've had the book for about a year. Invaluable source of info on SAKs. Just buy it.
