Checked the handle scale removal thing at the bottom, it says the scales are broken once they are taken off? Is that true? Thought they could be taken off and put back on numerous times

the scales will have to be glued , because the holes for the pins become larger/little damaged

I've taken scales off. The holes that go over the rivets become damaged/chipped in the removal process so you have to epoxy/glue them back on. They stay put though. They will clip on a little bit.
