I just thought I would let you see the maturity level of your fellow Bladeforums member Chin Mullet, as this is the email I just received...

Did you contact the Moderators here? Seems like this guy should Walk The Plank!

No, I did not contact the moderator as he has closed my channels of direct communication to him through a private post or email... And besides, it seems that he takes more to the likings of Chin's methods than mine by his choice of inflammatory words like referring to me indirectly as a "dork." I am offended by the remark and don't think it is very professional... The moderator's point is well taken but could be said in a different manner with different language.

If I have totally misconstrued the comment then I invite "Cougar" to contact me and discuss the matter with me directly before any "punitive" actions are taken toward me and my membership to Bladeforums for simply standing up for myself...

After all, I did not intend to offend anyone or do anything that could be considered "below board." What is a forum for if you can not dispense non-profit information for the good advancing interest in the subject the forum was intended...

Respectfully Yours,
James.Christian

Speaking only for myself,
I very much enjoy your website, and appreciate the fact that you posted its existance here on BladeForums. Contrary to what the moderator says, I would not have found your website otherwise. Thank you.

Regarding your exchange with the immature fellow BladeForums member; my advice would be to take the high road and ignore the fool. Any further public responses on your part will simply drag you down to his level.

Jamie, the type of "flaming" you were subjected to is exactly the reason people leave forums like this. If members can't be respectful they have no business participating in forums. IMHO correction and redirection should be done in private through email and private messaging, not further publically escalating the hostility.:grumpy:

I'm pretty surprised at all this commotion.

Honestly, if this forum has a policy of not permitting the posting of information about non-commercial, helpful collector information sites, what could be the purpose for such a prohibition?

James,

I said what I did because you have a history over at Knifeforums for spamming about your site.

I have no problem with you but you seem to get overly agressive when someone calls you on it. That usually means something.

I really don't think that a mod would kick someone or ban someone because they said (Privately in email no less) that you suck.

I was professional enough to keep that out of the forum and you dragged it into this forum.

I will no longer partake in your useless conversation here. If you have a problem with me take it up with a moderator. I've not done anything wrong as what was said to you was done so privately in email.

Your thread has been reported.
