Swiss Army Main Blade Rubbing

Hello, this is my first post on the SwissBianco forum section. I just purchased a swiss army fieldmaster and I noticed the main blade was sitting toward one side and was rubbing up against the smaller pen blade causing scratching on the one side of the blade. I know this is not a huge issue since I plan to use it, but I want to put the scratches on blade through use and not from opening and closing the blade. Does anyone know if sendiing it in is worth it, and will they do anything to fix it?

Thanks for any replies, Ben

It is not an uncommon for the main blade to rub against the small blade on 91mm and 84mm SAKs or nail file on 84mm. I am sure you can send it in and get it replaced free of charge, but you'd be paying to ship it and then wait 8-12 weeks to get it back. Opening and closing the blade is, technically, a part of using the SAK, so I would just use it.

please send swiss army, the us victorinox importer a email and tell the details about your sak, they will advice and help.
