My sister in law gave this to me about 10 years ago. I've never worn it, because my other watch was fine. Now I want to wear it, but I don't know which make/model it is. It has the swiss emblem on it, and says Swiss army on the back (band). Is it victorinox? It needs a battery. Sorry for blurry cell pic.

I don't know about this model, but the shield looks very much like the Victorinox shield.

it is a vic. check out their website

I looked on the vic site, but couldn't find this model. It's about 10 years old, so I'm sure it's discontinued. I was hoping some watch nut might be able to ID it. As long as it's a vic, I'm satisfied. It doesn't say victorinox on it anywhere. It does say made in switzerland though.

Does anybody know if the backs are threaded on, or pressed on?

You could post your question at a watch forum, like watchuseek.com, there are a lot of watch nuts over there. :)
