So, what do you folks think about Swiss Army watches, made by Victorinox?
How do they compare to Seiko and Citizen and other watches?

Thanks,
Allen.

I've had a couple Swiss Army watches (Wengers), and to be honest, I prefer Casio G-Shocks.

I have both a Wenger and a G Shock. I wear the Wenger at work. It has the metal band and looks a little dressier. Both watches keep excellent time but I just like the G Shock better. Maybe it's because I subconsiously associate the Wenger with work.

I have a couple of Victorinox watches. They keep good time and are well made, as well made as the Seiko I have. If it's important to you then you should know that the hands don't glow very well.

Of all my watches, the only two analog models I own are Wengers (Suisse Komando). They DO keep excellent time, typical of quartz, but as noted previously, the luminescent hands hardly glow at all. Even when brand new, the hands were very difficult to read in the dark. The wierd thing is, the hour marker dots glow very brightly for a long time, but where the hands are after just one min of darkness is anyones guess.

I have a Victorinox Swiss Army Officer's. It is the only watch I wear. I love it. You can't go wrong for the $206.

I have the blue dial. It's a great looking watch. It is very rugged, keeps great time, and the crystal is basically scratchproof.
