They exist, and are very neat little knives. I had one as a kid but lost it many years ago. I started a thread a few weeks ago inquiring about replacing it. I decided not to after seeing the prices they are going for. They were discontinued years ago and fetch a higher price than I feel they are worth, even for nostalgia sake.

Aha! Just looked these up and now I remember them. I never realized at the time that Wenger made them; I remember thinking it was a Buck innovation to expand their line ("Oh look, Buck is making SAK-type knives.").

Actually, they are available from one web store (not a sponsor here), for $49.95. Three other models feature either scissors or pliars, and the other model is geared towards fisherman, and these are $59.95...quite reasonable for a Swiss made Wenger that is discontinued if you ask me.

A friend of mine still carries a Swissbuck his wife gave him back in the '90s. Last time I saw it, it was on his keychain, one of the handle slabs had fallen off, and the scissors spring had broken (so much for Wenger's 'unbreakable' scissors spring system). But he kept the blade sharp and it had served him well over the years. IMO, it's a bit heavy for a keychain, but it's the only knife he carries.
