Swiss card pen?

I had to write on some wet paper with the pen in my Swiss card and it did a great job. This got me to wondering if the pen is like a fisher space pen. I did some testing and it also writes upside down like my fisher pen.

Does the pen have some pressure inside it with the ink?

Yes, all of Vic's pens are pressurized.

Awsome! :)

BTW: I have had the swiss card in my wallet from day one of getting it.

I use the pen often. I was out geocaching last weekend when I had to sign a wet log book.

I also find myself using the tweezers too.

I know there will be times I will use the other items on it to, sooner or later.

The pen is really useful to me.

Thanks agian felinevet :)

I just remembered I did use the scissors the other day to cut my fingernails.
I'm sure it gets used more then I can remember. :)

At this point I feel I would be lost without one.

Can you get replacement pens for the swiss card?

Yes, on eBay. They are the same pens used in the SAKs (just like the tweezers and toothpicks are the same parts). Also try swissarmy.com. i believe there are two lengths of pens though, so be careful. I do know that the Swisscard pens are the same pens used in the Cybertool 34 Lite and the Cybertool 41.

Hi all,
Felinevet could take care of your replacement parts needs, and at a good price too. The pen barrels are different, barrels for the 58mm series besides being shorter, don't have the head that the longer barrels do. I remember reading sometime back that Fisher is the maker of the pen barrrels

Really? That would be interesting - I am a longtime user of Fisher pens (the "bullet" space pens with the PDA stylus are my EDC pen). :D

Can anyone here confirm or deny that assertion?

Thanks,
Tim
