Can anyone out there give the year that Victorinox started making the Swiss Champ or Champion model? Thanks.

SwissChamp was introduced in 1986 - the year Victorinox introduced the pliers.

The name "Champion" has been used for a while -
but if we take the Champion as a model with the magnifying glass -
then 1973 was the year the magnifying glass was introduced.
