Swiss Military hatchet

I have a Swiss Military hatchet that's a ''Tank''. Nothing fancy, straight handle, its marked on the head CFL inside a recessed area. I've only had it for 4 yrs or so, but, its been used a lot, and really has a nice feel to it. Just thought i'd post this in case someone is looking for a pretty good little hatchet. I've seen them still for sale, they've gone up a little in price. Handle from the bottom of the eye is about 13 1/2'' long , and straight. Its a keeper for sure. So if any of you are looking for a good little user hatchet, you might give one of these a look.

I wish I had bought the Swiss surplus axe when they were available for cheep, I like the looks of the hatchet but I like the axe better but there hard to find now. Maybe a new batch will turn up. I'm a big fan of Swiss surplus stuff

$39.95 doesn't seem to bad compared to Granfors Bruks or Helko....

That's the hatchet, not the axe. The axe is 4# iirc and a fairly short handle and were about $25 a couple years ago.
