Picked one of these up a little while ago, I’m not an outdoors guy but I’ve used it to break down a chicken and some other kitchen chopping duties. Not sure what kind of steel but fit and finish is nice and looks to be put together well.

I've been curious about those for a while and almost picked one up earlier this summer (I found a deal on a Hults Bruk Agdor hatchet and snatched that up instead). I like the straight haft on them, in particular. I'm curious to know if you had to sharpen yours and how the steel felt while sharpening and if it holds an edge well. Might still grab one for the truck.

Yeah I sharpened it, took a nice edge, steel might be a little soft but for what I’m using it for holds up well

I like them, got one last summer and put it on a longer handle and have used it a lot.Bought another one to mess with this winter.
