Swiss Tech makes some nice little products, all of which have proven to be useful. This one is a small keychain multi-tool. The Micro Pro comes with a light, making it a bit easier to see your work being done. Swiss Tech products are made in China, not Switzerland. This is an issue for some people, so I decided to include it in my review. The price for this model (60500) is around $9. Weight (with the light) is 2.8 ounces, which I feel is a bit heavy for something hanging off your car ignition. Here's the review...

Tool Features: The Micro Pro is made of solid stainless steel; probably hardened 420. The tool is houses on the back side of the light (Swiss Tech calls the light a "docking station") and is removed by swinging the screwdrivers out into a plier position. Then you unsqueeze the plier handles and remove the tool. When fully open, the Micro Pro is 3-1/4" long by 1-1/8" wide. The end of one arm forms a #2 flathead screwdriver; the other is a #2 Phillips-head screwdriver. Either tool can be folded back into the closed position, and this locks the pliers closed so you can work with the exposed tool. As screwdrivers, they do their jobs. Nothing spectacular to report; they're just screwdrivers. When using the screwdriver and the pliers are locked closed, you get nice leverage with a somewhat comfortable grip. There are no sharp edges when using the Micro Pro in this manner.
The outside edges of the plier handlesare ridged and smoothed, which helps greatly with comfort and control. Each side has the Swiss Tech logo stamped in, and the Phillips side has CHINA lightly stamped on the inside, and each screwdriver arm is 1-14/16" long.

The Micro Pro also has a light wire cutter, pliers, and light wire stripper. The pliers are a circle shape; the inside is more open for bolts, while the tip meets in a blunted (almost circle-like) tip. The inside part of the pliers open to 9/16", while the tip opens to 1/2". The wire cutters open to 1/4". The wire cutters will easily sever up to a single piece of 16 gauge wire. The inside of the pliers are serrated, like pliers should be. While not a heavy-duty tool, they'll do quite nicely on any light to medium-duty work that you can fit in their jaws.

The Light: The pliers clamp shut onto the "docking station" which is a black plastic light that's been nested out to accomodate the tool. It's 1-1/4" wide by 2-1/4" long by 10/16" thick. The back is flat and has a stud (covered by plastic) that the pliers grip on to; then you close the pliers and fold the arms in. This locks the tool on to the light. The light itself is a white LED, and is guaranteed for life. It uses two 3-volt lithium batteries, which are easily replaceable with a small Phillips-head screwdriver. The light has a momentary on /off (just press the blue button), or can be used in a constant on mode (slide the blue button back and it will click into place). Battery life is about 2 hours from my testing, and the light is bright enough to light up the interior of your car at night.
The casing for the light is black plastic as mentioned before, and it comes with a split ring for your keys. With the tool added, it makes my keys a bit heavy: 2.8 ounces just for the tool and its light; this isn't counting the weight of everything else on your keyring. All of this weight dangling from your car ignition can dislodge something over time, so I don't recommend putting it with your car keys while you're driving. Just my two cents.

the Swiss Tech Micro Pro is a nice addition to your urban tool kit, and for under $10 it's a nice toy for tinkering. Check it out at Swiss Tech's site here (PDF file)... http://www.swisstechtools.com/docs/literature/MicroPro9-in-1ProductInfo.pdf
