for some reason ,the ulti-key suck for me,for e.g. the screwdriver is poorly designed that the blade can hurt yr hand.....so i am interest in the micro pliers.do u guys know wht is the swiss tech's micro pliers made of?in their website, they only said it is hardened steel....

but is it stainless??

and is it related to swiss??

You can get the Micro-Pliers in stainless as well as hardened steel:

REI

I know their website only says hardened steel but I have two of these myself and they are stainless steel. It even says so on the packaging. I believe they make all of their Micro-Pliers out of stainless as well as hardened steel. Their website just doesn't show it. I believe the Utilikey, however, is only constructed of stainless steel.

I like both items. The Utilikey is designed as a back-up to your back-up's back-up, so hard use isn't it's forte. The screwdrivers are a bit small and have to have their edges roughed up a bit. As for the Microplier I've had one for about 7 years and it is still going stong. The do rust easily however.
