from you guys that have used alot of multi tools.
which one out of these 2 or anyother multi tools, would you like to have if you where stuck some where.

I have a ton of these and can tell ya that most people like the swiss because the finish is better which also equals more slippery! but i like them both, but i do prefer the locks on the leathermans although some claim they are not properly positioned for proper tool use. The larger leathermans (core and surge) have stronger pliers and there is a very noticeable difference in the ease of force applied when using the leathermans but if the charge is what you are looking at i would go with the swiss tool as the wave and charge will pinch the crap out of your hands! in the larger tools i do prefer the leathermans though.

My personal opinion would be that the swiss tool's materials are of higher quality when compared to the charge tti. If I were stuck somewhere that would be the tool that I would rather have on me between the two of them. However I carry the charge all of the time. For the most part the only time I bring the swiss tool out is if I have a project around the house of if I am going camping. The charge in my opinion makes a better edc though because you can carry it with the pocket clip that it comes with, you could carry it in it's belt sheath or you could use the dummy cord option. Also I like how the blades can be opened with one hand and have liner locks. Lastly I know a lot of people aren't fans of the bits but I am a big fan of them.

i'm kinda looking for the untilmate multi tool.

No such thing. On one model you'll like the selection of tools better. On another you'll like that you don't have to open up the handle to access the tools. On others you'll prefer the locking mechanism, the size or the finish. So all you can really do is select one that appears to most closely match your preferences, and go for it.

I have both and only use the Charge TTi. As others have stated, the one-handed opening tools is a major advantage to me. Plus, I don't like the Swisstool's screwdrivers. I much prefer Leatherman' when it comes to that.

The Swisstool looks pretty, but the Charge TTi works better for me.

Though I don't own a charge, I do own a bunch of Leathermans, and a Swisstool. The Swisstool, being a Victorinox, of course has the edge in overall quality. However, something about it I don't like is that many of the tools are near nail-busters to get open for me. If I were in cold temps, or in circumstances where my hands are always getting wet/softening my fingernails, and I needed to access those tools, it could be a problem.

I rarely carry a multi on my person anymore, but have a Leatherman Blast in my work bag. All the tools are very easy for me to access.

I prefer the Swisstool since Leatherman went with those cheesy bits and bitholders. Personal choice would be the Spirit, which is more compact.

Swisstool, because whatever else, it is bulletproof, rustproof and probably tougher than the Charge. As the TTi is a bit smaller, the two are not directly comparable. A full size Swisstool compares more directly with the Leatherman Core, which is actually my preferred EDC multi-tool for heavy duty. But I have to admit, in a situation of "stuck somewhere," the build quality of the Vic product would give me just a bit more confidence.

I am a huge fan of the swisstool, best multitool avaliable and bomb proof IMO but depends on what suits your needs. If you are carrying another good folder, then get the swisstool. If ths will be your only blade for edc, get the Charge TTI, it has larger blades in S30V with OHO. I always carry a good folder so I prefer a swisstool but if it was my only edc, it would be a charge TTi which is my favorite LM. (I dont own one BTW.)

The older leathermans had the same finish as the swisstools but they were tougher as far as the knife blades are concerned and they held an edge longer than the vics but the newer tools just dont measure up... I still have about a dozen leathermans and several vics and a wenger plier tool as well and i use the leathermans (even the newer ones) more than the others because i like the pliers better on the larger ones. perhaps you should take a look at the new SOG's they even got one with assisted opening on the knife blades for those who prefer it (i don't) but they do have or claim to have the strongest plier tool available.

well i'll try make up my mind about the swiss tool and charge but any other help will help.
thanks
now i'm looking are the core and surge to haha

Those two are good choices for their price but I would still go with a charge or vic.
