Well, i finally went and picked up my swiss tool which i ordered last week. I love it. It feels so solid in the hand, knives and tools are top notch and the pliers are all right, i wish they were needlenose but theyre fine. I still don't know if i can retire the m16 but i will be carrying this everyday now.

My Swisstool Spirit is my edc. I also have an original Swisstool in my tool chest. I'm pretty much off Leatherman now that I've tried Victorinox (although I still have an old style Wave).

yeah me too, i own a buck tool, a leatherman supertool and a gerber something or other and i like this one the best out of them all.

When I bought my SwissTool, I had them engrave my initials on it. The end result was so beautiful that I decided not to wreck it at work...as a result, It has only seen service as a stand-in when I get dressed up and am unlikely to be using it:rolleyes:

I also have the swiss tool and like it a lot, as an EDC unfortunately I do not have pants nor belt strong enough to carry it around and I find that a wheelbarrow hampers my style. :p

I do however take it along every time my mom invites us for "dinner" (AKA I need you to fix this for you old mom, boy:rolleyes:)

And it has never let me down

Yeah, the Swisstool is built like a Swiss bank vault. Mine needs a stout belt to keep it and the middle age spread off the floor. Just not quite suspenders, yet.

After the Gerbers, Original Leatherman, SOG, and others, it's about the best all around large multiplier out there for me.

Swisstools are the way to go...IMHO. I very recently bought my first Leatherman from the internet (never really handled one). I picked up the new Charge AL. I'm kinda disappointed...the Swisstool Spirit spoiled me bad.

Glad you got yourself a Swisstool...as WadeF said, you need to try the Spirit too. The Spirit is hard to beat.

Congrats.
:)
