Hey guys. I saved this guy from a junk pile last year and got it back in working order. I always wanted a SwissChamp and was thrilled to find this so cheap, although not quite a steal in such a condition.

This as an old project, but thought I'd post this after starting to carry the Champ once again. Its a pocket full, but love those pliers. Thanks for looking

I can only imagine:oops:
Almost all of the tools were bent to some degree, liners smooshed together in the center as if it was run over by a truck, and covered in some type of blue ink inside and out. It went through hell that's for sure, but it has a loving home now where it can fulfill its destiny once again :)
That’s a great job at restoring that. Although I shudder at the thought of what that poor knife went through before you.

I love seeing an old abused knife restored and put back to use. Great job!
Thanks, same here. Its fun finding those old tools everyone else has given up on and giving them new life. This one had plenty of life left, just needed to be brought out.

If it weren't for the hint of blue on the corkscrew I'd call you a liar, it's hard to believe this is the same knife.

Great job you did there, resurrecting this thing is not something I could've ever done.

You did a helluva job with the restoration, though I don't think I could lug a behemoth like that around. My super tinkerer is almost too big, but I too have an affection for the pliers. They're very handy to have on hand.

Wow very talented, looks like the Phillips was still in good shape,I get bummed when there all boogered up-nice work

Thanks, disbelief in this case is a good compliment:D

This one rides in my work bag, definitely big for the pocket:eek:
I don't work on electronics much, but those pliers have proven indispensable for taking my laptop apart and reassembling.

thanks, some of the tools were in fine shape, just needed a little cleaning. Others needed to be replaced completely, luckily the philps was one of the good ones. The inline is by far my favorite on any SAK.

great job ! bravo !
Thanks for the kind words
