MRV, I just read your other SAK post, also....about which one for camping. IMHO, a Champ is too big(wide) to be very practical for me. An Explorer with four layers is about as wide as I go. Certainly the Champ fans will differ, LOL.

For camping, I'd suggest that your choice have a saw, to help with kindling and wood. A can oper, cap lifter is a good one have, along with the awl, for punching clean holes. The simplest SAK out there with these is probably the Alox Farmer. In the red nylon scale knives, I'm not sure, but the others in that thread have good suggestions for you.
 
paid 52 for mine on the Flea Bay....I love it. Some of the big box places have them for around 60. Dealers here can prolly get you the cool ones with stag or cammo scales. happy hunting
