Swisstool CS Plus Corkscrew question

So for those here with the Swisstool CS Plus whats the deal with the corkscrew? Once attached does it fold out/fold in like a corkscrew on a regular SAK or the leatherman Juice xe6? Once its attached can it be left attached and just folded in like a regular foldout tool? Or is it just carried loose in the pouch then screwed in when needed and stowed when not needed? I really want the Swisstool CS plus but can't handle one locally and the pics/text available don't really answer my question. For me the corkscrew question is potentially a dealbreaker. Any info or pics will be greatly appreciated.

As far as I can tell, it works like just the one on the Spirit: you attach it when you need it, but the rest of the times it stays in the belt pouch along with the wrench/ratchet and bits. And even if I love to have a corkscrew always available on my SAK's, on a "work" tool like the Swisstool/Spirit it wouldn't make much sense to have it always there. It would take up too much space and make the handles uncomfortable, to me at least, for heavy tasks.

exactly-

FYI the cork screw is a separate peice entirely-it houses the mini screw driver-the cork screw is slid into an opening in the body by the pliers-the slide in is friction but very secure

it attaches to one of the open slots by the pliers head-it slides into that groove and locks-then you must unslide it to put away the Swiss tool in its case or your pocket-the cork screw cannot be 'folded in' under any circumstance-it is fixed when attached-its works better than a smaller SAK due to the sheer handle size on the swiss tool

to carry the cork screw-well you could simply put in your pocket separately-or -so long as you use the pouch its conveniently carried and available

they are really nice tools-the socket extention set adds to the versatility for certain screw driver applications-i added some flat blade sockets to those supplied in the original SAK socket rack-the cs is deluxe, but a hefty overall package with its case and extras-top quality-

Thanks for the info ! Sorry for the delay in posting a reply i had to deal with some house plumbing problems! Arggh!
Anyway your posts certainly answers my question. I am Victorinox nut i own around 30 of them. I was considering going back to a EDC of one knife only hence my interest in the Swisstool CS Plus. Right my EDC consists of a Vic farmer or OH Trekker and a Leatherman Micra. I'm very satisfied with that setup but just out of curiosity i've a hankering for a new multitool. I already have an old Sog Paratool and a old Leatherman Wave which are decent but i'm really a Vic guy.Generally i don't go for multitools that have loose accessories, i prefer that the multitool to be self contained so i can pocket carry if need be. Also loose accessories tend to get lost. I was hoping the corkcrew was a foldout ala Leatherman xe6. But despite the fact that its not i'll probably end up buying the Vic Swisstool CS or maybe just get the Swisstool X instead.
Thanks!

if you dont already have a multi tool youll be delighted-i have the old wave and the vic is simply beautiful, large, almost overbuilt, and IMHO so heavy as to preclude it from a campers/climbers knife unless you really need a tool box to go-(these are my major interests for using SAKs-)

as a vic enthusiast you wont be sorry

i often carry mine in my pocket, w/o holster and accessories........typically its around the house and yard-what i like -over my old wave-also quite nice-is that the vic is almost like using real tools-almost-heavy duty tools and strong, and the all lock-which i never appreciated or thought i needed until i tried it- but not quite as ergonomically nice-ie a screw driver or normal pliers etc......

and for an edc youll simply need to make sure you get some of the newer aussie wines and some calif following the growing trend of using a screw cap instead of a cork...................

once you get teh vic youll really be happy im sure-i was so happy i bought a second version w/o scissors and cork screw and with 2 blades, just for the hell of it...

I just picked up a corkscrew/mini-screwdriver for my Spirit on ebay. Appearently there is no room in the leather belt pouch for it! Does the Spirit Plus come with a different belt pouch than the plain old Spirit?
