Bought our Christmas tree this morning at the local Home Depot. Found a nice noble fir tree that was about six feet tall. I got it home and decided that I was going to take care of cleaning the excess needles and removing some of the lower branches downstairs of my apartment building before lugging it upstairs. I didn't want to walk up and get my hand saw in the apartment and then realized I had a small saw right on my belt - on my SwissTool Spirit. I start removing the netting off the tree then started cutting the smaller branches on the bottom of the tree. The saw quickly cut through the branches. I gave the tree a few taps on the sidewalk and I was ready to armstrong the tree into the apartment. My wife was happy also because I didn't track too much loose needles into the apartment and the tree was ready to mount in the stand when I came into the apartment:D.

I use leatherman and sog. But they all serve the same purpose. They can come in so handy you just cant seem to ever be without one once you catch the multi tool bug.

Isn't that interesting? From the time I first strapped on a Leatherman tool, fixit situations started coming at me like never before. After 10 years, it's still like thiat. Damnedest thing. I never before realized how many things needed attention. :)

Yesterday I needed to let air out of my tire to shoot in some Fix-A-Flat...I used the nail file/cleaner on my SAK instead of looking around for a pen or something..I didn't even have to get up:thumbup:

Gotta love the Victorinox wood saws! Be it on a SAK, or one of their multi-tools, they saw like crazy. If you ever touch the saw teeth and feel how sharp they are you'll know why it saws so well. :)
