Holy mackerel! I found the elusive plain (not black oxide) Swisstool Spirit S! Not only that, it's on sale for $49! It's a site that I have never bought from, so I'm a little worried. However, they seem to regularly supply Amazon.com, so I hope they're legit. I've been looking for this model for so long I'm willing to take the risk. I just pulled the trigger, wish me luck.
 
congrats and good luck! I got my BO Spirit S from Amy a few xmas's ago for like 34 bucks! talk about fast trigger puller!
 
Only $34? Jeez, and I thought my price was good. Definitely congrats on that.
 
That's pretty cool. There are bargains out there if you watch and wait.

A while back, I got my Spirit Plus on clearance from a large retailer's website for $40.
 
yeah xmas time is a good time to look for Vic deals, I lucked out so now every holiday I'm watching lol

I want to get a regular Spirit, "shiny" one with scissors next, I just luv the Spirit, it's the one I reach for.
 
I got the plain Spirit S today, it is a legit seller after all. This is my ideal camping multitool. It's better than LM Wave for camping because it has reamer and chisel instead of Wave's bit & eyeglass drivers. Since my Vic Midnite Manager has scissors, I don't need another pair on the MT.
 
Congrats on a great deal. Last month I was able to pick up a LM Supertool 300 for $21.00 at a local Walmart. It was marked wrong. The manager insisted I only pay the marked price.

Yes, it was a good deal. With the money saved, I purchased the Victorinox L Wrench, Universal Tool Adapter, Socket Adapter, and some bits. It's now my go to truck kit.
 
Any chance you would share the name of that site? they dont seem to be listing it on amazon anymore and I cannot find a plain spirit s anywhere much less for that great a price

I just got my Spirit-S today. Got it from Swiss Outpost via eBay "BIN" for $49. 2 years later, same price.
What a great tool! I have many Leatherman tools, this is my first ST and I am happy to see the presision of the plier tip is as perfect as my Wave.
I wonder why the "S" is so much cheaper in price? Scissors can't be that big a mark-up. Plus, I got scissors on my Micra which is always with me and those scissors rock.
