I was wondering if anyone could tell me the approximate date CRK's switched from flat ground blades to the convex grind. I tried the search function but it didnt seem to be working. Any help much appreciated.

Many thanks

Are you talking about the edge bevel or the main grind? The Sebenza blades and fixed blades have always been hollow ground with a slightly convexed edge bevel. Flat ground Sebs are found on a limited number of knives but they too have a convex edge bevel.

What KV said !

Too bad that CRK doesn't or won't make another limited run of flat ground Sebbies ! :D

Thanks, Sorry for not being more clear. I was asking about the edge bevel but I think KV answered my question. So the edge bevels on the Sebenza has always been convex, while there were very few Flat ground Sebenzas. I think I got it...So does anyone know what years the Flat ground Sebenzas were made...I guess we're talking about main grind now since they have all always had a convex edge...Somebody correct me if I just confused myself more.

Many thanks
