Alright, I really want a switchblade, but they are illegal here in Canada. Anyone know how I could get one? And on a related note, how much trouble one would get in for possesing one?
 
maybe on the web, or come into the states. they are legal in many places.

as far as trouble, it would probably depend on how exactly the laws read and under what circumstances it was found.
 
Bladeforums generally frowns on breaking the law, and advising people on committing crime. You will also get much better advice by calling the local DA (or canadian equivalent.)

Why not get an assisted opener? assuming they are still legal in your area. they are pretty much as fast as an automatic. and fun to play with.

I have a feeling the mover will be our favorite feral feline. . . assuming that the thread will get moved at all.

It would not be allowed in the Automatic forum, so maybe the knife laws forum?
