Switching the clip position - is this something Spyderco service will do?

I have an old stainless steel Delica, that is set for tip down carry. It pre-dates the era when Spyderco started drilling the holes for all carry positions, so tip down, right hand is the only way this knife works at the moment.

Does Spyderco service offer drilling/tapping to move the clip to tip up carry? I would rather send it to Spyderco and have them do this than try to find a local machine shop around here and risk messing up the knife.

Good question, probably the best advice would be to give their CS a call and ask. I'd venture to guess that it wouldn't be warranty type work at the very least.

Probably not. But there are also plenty of great forumites who might be able to do that sort of work.
