We're Camillus Sword Brand knives considered to be a better quality than the standard line of Camillus knives? Why? Stainless blades? Anything else? I picked up a sword Brand scout knife today at a flea market. It has some spotting on the blades and bolsters, but overall it's in pretty nice shape. The handles are in nice shape, some type of imitation stag. The blades all have great snap, open and closed. The bail is in tact also. The springs are quite strong on it. I thinks it's pretty nice overall, just looking for any facts or opinions that you guys might have. Thanks.

The "Sword Brand" name was used since around 1906 and on modern knives.... so for about 101 years. I don't understand the generalizations you are asking about. Camillus did make some nice knives.

I had one of the locking stock knives. Very cool knife.
