Well, if the pix post there it is.

31.5 inches and 38 ounces. I think this is what we call the Tibetan Sword -- by Bura. It is excellent work. The only two criticisms I have are (1) 3 or 4 very small dimples where Bura worked out some forging flaw. If you don't like these you can smooth them out for a perfect finish. And (2) the edge could stand a good sharpening. Blade sings when you run a file down it.

Very nicely carved horn handle as you can see and nicely scrolled guard.

Superior quality brown leather scabbard over wood. Very nice rig.

Email and get it for $195 delivered. Got to fall into the UBBB category.

Uncle, that sure is nice. Love that horn handle.:D

I've had the same problem with the last of a list of .
Probably a bug in the forum software.
But I can't make it repeat on purpose.

I see it's fixed now.

See, Uncle Bill when you put the pictures up your sales become something painful much harder to fight the HIKV. I want to get a Sirupati next or I would take this one. I just have to keep telling myself one at a time...or maybe two at a time. :)

Feth,

Sirupatis and the others are always around. This is a rare one indeed. Better grab it while it's still here:D

I hope somebody buys this soon. I have a weakness for swords. This is gorgeous.

Steve

If I didn't know that was a grip big enough for two hands, I'd
call it a long bladed bowie, or would it be an Arkansas toothpick.
Don't want to look for references at the moment to be sure.
