sword idea/design list

ok guys,
here is the deal,

if you have am idea or a design floating around in your head for a sword of any type, list it here, whether it be a drawing or just a typed concept

lets see how many ideas there are that most of us dont know about



for me, i have always thought about a short sword based off the basic USMC Kabar knife

i have always thought about extending the blade and possibly the handle, but keeping it looking like the Kabar.

so basically make a kabar knife blade longer and keep the leather stacks on the handle (PS: if anyone likes this idea and makes it, please let me know, i would like to buy one if it comes out well)

so, what other ideas are out there?
 
Hey, the way I see it that's good news! It means your able to buy something you dreamed of for production knife price! :D:thumbup:

A sword I'd like to see made would be a modernized rendition of a police saber. Stainless fittings (carbon blade of course) with a kydex or fiberglass scabbard and some sort of modernized frog.
 
I want a three-bladed sword, with the outer blades able to shoot out and impale my enemies!

Seriously, though, the second sword down was one I made (back before I knew anything about knifemaking). I was going for an western/eastern amalgamation. I had been fantasizing about it for a long time! I lucked out-- the steel is some kind of stainless that one of my dad's friends gave me, but it is really tough, and has been able to handle all I've thrown at it over the last 20 years! (real abuse!)
