I'm trying to figure out if I got took or if I got a Deal in a pawnshop...can someone help me identify this Katana?

Only thing my scrub eyes could tell is that the bo-hi seems to be the cheap machine-made type.

I'd recommend taking the pictures again, outdoor if possible, with the flash off. I'd also include pictures of the saya and a close up of the kissaki. Perhaps a close up of the menuki as well?

Some might recommend taking it apart to get a shot of the tang, but I'd be very hesitant to do that unless I'm confident I can put it back together.

Word of caution though:
If you got it in a pawn shop, I'd be very careful about swinging it in any way, as a stainless blade could break and cut you. That being said, I'd also check for rust, grease, or oil for hints about that, as the blade only looks a bit dusty to me.
