Sword identification?

This sword my grandfather gave me, it doesnt have any marking on it that I'v seen.

I don't know anything about this sword at all. So if I would be able to find out around what time this sword would be made and around how much its worth.
 
That's a khukri, its more of a large knife rather than a sword. It's used by and made famous by the "Gurkers" from Nepal and also put to good use by many in surrounding regions.

I am no expert on them but there are many guys here who can probably be more help to you on the specifics of that knife.
 
Alright thanks for the info, i posted it over there too, would this be the right place to post pics of a WW1 bayonet? I'm just trying to get an approximate price for it?
 
Its a late 19th Century or very early 20th century khukuri, looks British Gurkha Issue, nice one.
