Sword laws in Georgia

Does anyone know any laws in Georgia that would make it illegal to have swords in the trunk of your car? Im asking because I practice both western and eastern sword arts and alot of the time put my swords in my trunk to carry on my way to my martial arts practice and just wanted to make sure if I get pulled over for what ever reason and told the officer they were back there that I wouldn't be breaking any laws. Im on probation already, if that affects anything. Thanks in advance.

There shouldn't be a problem with them in your trunk, especially going to and from a legitimate sports function that involves them such as martial arts, or fencing. I live in Ga., and I fence. I carry mine all the time and have never had any problems.

Being on probation is a different story. That would depend on the conditions of your probation. Having swords, or anything else that could be used as a weapon could be a violation. I would check with your Probation Officer, just to be safe.
