Hi guys. Finished this custom piece up for a customer this week. It’s a different version of my Eli. Longer handle and modified the shape some. We will be adding this one to the web site soon.

Shop Details:
5160 Spring Steel was cut out and Normalized @ 1500 degrees until nonmagnetic, three times, to remove stresses and align crystals. Heat Hardened until blade became nonmagnetic, then quenched in oil. Tempered the blade to a straw hardness @ 550 degrees for 1 hour, letting it air cool and repeating once more.

Total Length = 24 ½ “
Blade Length = 18 “
Blade Width = 2 5/8”
Blade Thickness = 3/16 “
Handle Length = 6 ½ ”
Handle Width = 1 3/16 ”
Handle: Black Linen Micarta. Scales attached with hidden pins and glued.

Great job. Does the buyer think this may improve his chances of getting a date with Mila Kunis?
 
It looks great. At first, I didn't really like the recurve. Then, I saw how the sharpened edge stops short of the "point" near the handle.
I do like it, looks like excellent craftsmanship.
 
I really appreciate it. I've been really trying to up my game at sword making. I'm glad you guys can maybe see it.
 
That looks fantastic!!! TBOE is one of my favorite movies to come out in a few years. I think I may have to get one of these when I get some extra $$$.
