I'm really digging that 1311, I am hoping someday soon they will be available in the shop, hopefully before I decide to pull the trigger on an R9 or the 1111.


The swords are nice too:D

and seeing your Rodent Solution is just driving me nuts, I ordered mine Feb 3rd, money was taken out of my account about a week ago, been checking my Rat account like 5 times a day since, in hopes of seeing a tracking number.

No one really knows but Dan, but I am going to say the 1311 will never be offered again, it was a forum member special when it was offered. If you dig the design I would say don't hesitate on the 1111, though it will likely be on the site for a while if the 911 is any indication.

As someone who has a used my 1311 hard, my opinion is the 1111 is a 1311 with improvements. If you read the 1111 description on the site it basically says as much. That it was based on the 1311, but has thicker stock due to requests made on the forum....hope that helps.
 
I would not be holding out for a 1311 or grab one on the exchange. As has been stated they were a one off run it seems and (unlike the 1111 that was released at Blade and such early) there has been no hint or indication, if anything just the opposite, that it would ever be offered up again in quantity. Maybe some will sneak out at a show in tan or something but not a regular offering at the shop. I love mine and am really glad I got them when I did.

1311 will not be offered again, with the possible exception of a few at shows. The 1111 is close, and it would be wise to get one now while you can.

Personally, I wouldn't necessarily say the 1111 is an improved 1311. They're just too different to say that IMO. The 1311 feels SO much lighter and faster, it's hard to believe without handling them both at the same time.

True, I meant that the 1111 has the improvements I would have asked for so to me it is an improved version :)

They are different, and I imagine the 1111 won't bite as deep as the MOAD. Like you say, one of the things I like best about my 1311 (which I do love) is its 19oz weight :eek: The 1111 can't give you that I guess...
 
Now did Scrapyard ever do a ruki? Or might that be on their list?
