Hi guys Im new to this site, was wanting to know if anyone has info on my sword laws as a Indiana resident?

There are surprisingly few laws in Indiana on non-firearm weapons from my observation: http://www.in.gov/legislative/ic/code/title35/ar47/ch5.html

The only edged weapons named in statute are switchblades and throwing stars. There's none of this "weapon of like kind" or "other dangerous weapon" BS that we in other states suffer from.

Though truth be told very few states have any laws specifically on swords. They're a bit out of style this past century:D. Generally it's down to your behavior, logical reason for having a sword, and officer judgement of the situation.

"Intimidation" is possible charge if another person feels threatened by it.

Also, be aware of county and city ordinances. Because IN is so relaxed at the state level, these entities within could potentially make any law on weapons they choose to.
