SY SOD edge angle

Anybody know what the fresh-from-the-shop edge angle is on the Scrapyard SOD, per side or overall?

I'm pretty sure that all Busse family blades are ground by hand, so there will be slight variations in edge angle from blade to blade and side to side on the same blade. I'd venture a guess at 20-25 degress, 40-45 degrees inclusive.

Mine is 40 degree inclusive at the belly and close to 50 at the tip. Chops well for a blade that size!
 
i use the paper wheels and match the angle thats on the knife unless i'm putting a convex edge on with the belt sander. i would say 20 per side is about right.
