Gave the 1311 a belt at some firewood splitting this arvo. As expected, it went swimmingly. Probably the toughest machete I've ever owned. SR101 never ceases to amaze in its perfomance. I have no reservations when it comes to flogging this steel as hard as I can. Anyway, enjoy the pics, I'm going to enjoy the fire...


I'm not sure what wood this is, eucalypt of some sort. It has the most amazing purple/magenta colour when you split it and it smells like strawberry jam. Burns well too
