Sykco collection thus far + Sykco proto mod

I was curious to know if there are any res-c handles I don't have yet.. let me know.

My newly acquired TNT-15 (Thanks grizzle!), Alpha Regulator 9.5, Dog Soldier 8, Mudd Mutt, and this Proto

I gave the Proto a swedge, filed the back to a more reverse tanto than the leaf shape it had while taking it to a true 90, then gave it a fero rod divot, some gimping, forced a nice even patina (I think), and mirror polished it in some choice spots

Thanks. Hand grinding & filing takes forever, but I think the results are worth it.

I don't have any safe queens in my collection, but a few of the prettier ones get babied more during use.

Once I get some time off to get in the woods; I'll be able to beat these up a bit.

The only style of res-c handle that I don't see is the small version of the one on the DS8. Here's a random pic I found that has one on the bottom:

Yep. I just thought about the one on the Dumpster Mutt too.. the old ones. Looks like I got a couple more knives to buy lol

Yeah... that's what I meant. I've seen it spelled both ways my entire life. Thought it was interchangeable; like color or colour.

Those seem to be the only current* Res-C handles. There were some older Busse Basic-series Res-C handles that had texturing in the side. Like on a Basic-11 I have.
