If it's anything like the standard regulator, they're gonna be great. The standard regulator handles are some of the most comfortable I've ever held. They're ugly as heck but they sure are great feeling.
 
I like ugly. That way I don't looks so ugly myself. :D I'm goingt o have to check one out though for sure now.

i usually dont like res c handles,,,but this one is awesome and built like a tank.its also very nicely balanced:thumbup:
can someone confirm if these are sr101 or sr77???
 
I initially had no interest in the regulators when they came out but I love thick knives so i picked one up for a good price. I have to say for the money this is THE best value on the market, for a larger to medium sized bowie. Seriously $100 for differentially tempered .333 SR 101?!?!?! craziness. And the handle is ugly as sin but it is the most comfortable of any of the knives I own. I wish they would make more knives with that handle shape.

I like ugly too...I love olds 4-4-2s but lots of people gripe that they aren't an attractive car. I think they are beauties though!
 
Received mine yesterday I think i like the green one better,being my favorite color ,not to fair to the desert Tan,Both built like a Tank,I swear you can break these knives,I have to say SY makes a hell of a knife,:thumbup:
 
I received mine today. (Tan) This is my first and it's impressive!! I wasn't sure about the handle until I had it "in-hand". Much more comfortable than I anticipated. This will get lots of hard use. For the price it doesn't get any better.

I've tried searching the forum but I could use some suggestions or advice for a sheath for this particular regulator.

Congrats on the scores for the Green and Tan handled ganza Regulators. I have a sheath by David Brown that fits my TT Regulator so I will try that, and maybe even the SYCO nylon sheaths may work.
