Recommendation? Symmetrical OTFs

Any recommendations on OTFs that have the actuator on the cover? The one I'm looking at is the Dirac but the configuration I like is out of stock everywhere. I just started looking at OTFs -- I haven't seen many designed like this.

The only other similar ones I can think of off the top of my head are the Benchmade Infidel and the Hawk Deadlock. There's several different colors and steels available in the Infidel lineup, but not as many options as Microtech offers in their lineup. The Deadlock is pretty much a custom, with extremely limited availability.

I think SOG is releasing an OTF with that layout later this year, but that obviously doesn't help you now.

That's a really nice looking knife that I'll definitely consider. Thanks for the recommendation :thumbsup:

. Not that it really matters for my intended use (i.e. a glorified letter opener), but I wish it had a more exciting steel for the price.

I'll keep an eye out for that SOG. The Deadlock's a beauty but a bit pricey for me.

If you're talking about the Deadlock, it's got a warranty: http://www.hawkknifedesigns.com/faqs.html

Q: Do you have a warranty for factory knives?

A: Yes, but not for all of them. We can do warranty work for any Kershaw or ZT design of ours. Factory knife warranty work you will need to pay for though, were as any custom knife warranty fix is free. Price depends on what needs done.
