Actually, two questions.

Does anyone have pictures of titanium handle Synergy?

And how is the standard colored aluminium handle resistant to wear?

Well, let me sneak the third question.

If anyone does have titanium handle Synergy: do you like it?

Thanx,

Well, I think the Ti. handle would ROCK!!! BUT if you're considering the Ti. version, plan on spending an additional $300 or more. (?)

The Al. handle with anodizing is great...

I have carried a Liberty colored Aluminum one in my back pocket since last August, mostly wearing jeans. I cannot see any wear at all, and I have pulled it out of my pocket several times a day. I don't even see any fading in the coloration.

I will agree with MTF3, I have carried mine daily since June. No wear to the anodizing.
This is a user, used every day and opened many times just for the fun of it.
Soild well built knife..

Any way, I really hope you enjoy the Synergy..

The Ti handled Synergy would have cost about $800 with a damascus blade. But they wern't made.I guess because of the complex machining and tight tolerances combined with the difficulty of machining Ti they couldn't be produced at that price point.

When I ordered my Synergy right around mid December, Jim O'Young said NO more Ti. handled Synergys. The anodized aluminum will wear WAY better than anodized Ti. anyway.
Ti. would have been nice even at the additional cost.
As a CNC machinist and working with Ti. on a daily basis, I can understand why they stopped making them.

The anodizing on the Synergy is called a type 3 one of the hardest and best. The G.T.models also have this type but for some reason the Synergy seems to feel much better.I did'nt think aluminium could feel that good.I highly recommend this knife.
