man its hard being a syracuse football fan right now-we have without a doubt the worst staff and head coach in div1a football if not the history of football-
greg robinson should have been fired after last years 1-10 fiasco-but he wasnt,so we get to suffer through more bad football because of this pin head of a coach,he hires all the rejects of football as assistant coach's-

people on the su forum are still trying to convince others that he is a good head coach,a 1-12 record says other wise,he is supposed to be a defensive genius, yet after 13 games still cant stop the run when he knows thats all the other team is going to do-guy eats monkey food

sorry for the rant but i woke up just as pissed about last nights game as i was when i went to bed-

not sure if buying a knife today will even make me feel better today -im so bummed

edited for bad words

Sorry about the Game.
You might consider a further edit of your post- I know you were letting off steam. Nasty once took the F word out of a short story I wrote. Hey man; I didn't say it, a character said it!! Anyway, Bill always wanted this to be a family forum where young eyes would not be....titilated.

rosconey2,
You could always switch teams. Tennessee beat the stuffing out of California yesterday :)
DanR

edit: however, buying a khukuri is likely to lift spirits

switch teams -heck no i wont go-the coach will leave before i stop bleeding orange-

anyhooo-i feel much better now after buying a schatt & morgan small texas toothpick in genuine samber stag-from cumberland knifeworks

so i guess i was wrong buying a knife did make me feel better

I'm glad the knife purchase improved things. I should point out that Tennessee fans bleed orange too.

we were the first orange and are the last word in orange-
tenn, texas and such are second class orange-sorry-lol

In June 1872, Syracuse adopted rose pink and pea green as the official colors of the University and its athletic teams. The colors were changed the next year to rose tint and azure, later becoming pink and blue.

After a football field meet at nearby Hamilton College in 1889 which Syracuse won, derisive comments about the victors’ colors led the SU student body to the conclusion that yet another change should be made.

A committee made up of students and faculty members discovered that orange had not been adopted by any college or university as a single color. In 1890 the Alumni Association rendered a unanimous decision and orange has been the sole official color of Syracuse University since that year.

Men’s varsity teams soon became known as the Orange or Orangemen. When women began competing in varsity sports in 1971, they selected the nickname Orangewomen. In 2004, the University made the decision to have all teams, men and women, referred to as the Syracuse Orange, to reflect the original nickname of SU's teams.

Well its just a fact that you Yankees can't play football. See, you're all kinda girly. Its because your women aren't hot enough to compel you to act more like a man. JMHO. Come down to the South where the cold doesn't sour the women and watch some real teams play.

I remember back in the early 90's when I was in school at Syracuse. Every year (well, only 3) we'd have a great record and ranking, then Miami would come to town and kick our *ss and back to a mid-level bowl we'd go.

I stopped watching them after McNabb's era, but it is pretty sad how far they've fallen. College football just ain't the thing in the Northeast. Also, if you were offered a full ride at USC, Miami, or Syracuse, would you really want to spend your winter in upstate NY?

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. I thought us Yankees just liked to cozy up to our hot women, instead of playing slap and tickle with a sweaty 300 pound lineman. :D
