Here is my first attempt at a knife sheath, not to bad but I've got a way to go. I do mostly holsters for my own handguns, doing the welt was the toughest part. My stamping and stitching are out of practice as you can tell, it is nice to work with leather again.

That's a beast of a knife for your first knife sheath , but it looks good.

Hand stitched ? If so , you hands must be tired after all that stitching.
