System Crashed, Mail Lost

Unfortunately, I've suffered a rather serious, unrecoverable Windoz crash.

The good news is that I'm very careful about backups and was able to recover the system quite easily. All files could be recovered except e-mail received between March 3ed and March 20th.

Apparently, there is something strange about how Microslop Exchange stores e-mail on the disk and my backup software just was not properly handling it.

Anyway, I need to ask any of you who have sent me e-mail between the 3ed and the 20th to resend it if possible. This is especially important if you sent it recently and I have not yet responded to it. I know that I had several that I received yesterday that I had not yet gotten to.

oooh, the old I did not answer your email because the computer ate it! That one is right up there with the dog ate my homework

Email has been getting worse for me, because I made the mistake of filling out a profile somewhere, and that subject me to all kinds of junk mail that I have to sort though to get to the real mail that has to be answered.

I know what you mean John. The same thing happened to me recently and I'm getting blasted with junk mail.
