do any of you have any experiance with szabo knives?


I have seen a few that look cool but i would like to know if they are funtional or just wall hangers

Well, they are designed solely for the intended purpose. Connecting Mr Szabo and wallhanger makes me shiver.

I don't have first hand experience with his knives but i do have a Spyderco
szabofly designed by Mr Szabo and made by Spyderco.

Believe me there is nothing wrong with his designs!

I would trust Mr Szabo with my money for his knives if i had the financial resources.

Mr Szabo is a highly respected designer.

anything laci does is hi speed.ive known him professionally for awhile and he is honest,humble and a scary technician with a knife.his uuk is really a beastie.any szabo knife bought is money well spent

Did anyone mention, that if you happen to catch him on the phone he is a Super good guy and will always offer more than the time of day. Laci is not only a pro but a damn good guy who will explain his designs and techniques to you. Has he returned form active duty yet???

Laci Szabo is a fine knifemaker with an eye for the unusual.

I think one of my knife buddies said it best when he told me "Szabo's stuff doesn't look functional but they are". They all look a little strange but it will mysteriously make sense when you have them in the hand.
