Finally got around to making a stainless knife for myself. This is my favourite stainless steel - RWL-34. Identical to ATS-34/154CM with Swedish powdered steel technology. This is a personal one for side-by-side bang-up testing with my carbon steel knives. This one does NOT have tapered tang, filework or handrubbed finish. Based on one I made for the troops. Thanks for the look. Jason.

I like it.

You do some really nice work.

It appears this RWL-34 is catching on. Jens Anso has been using it for a while, and now you and I see Blackwood as well.

Sounds like good stuff.

WOW! I sent you an email on that puppy . . . that is a great no-nonsense design. How thick is the blade & how strong is it (RWL-34) for prying duties? I say again, WOW!

As always, NICE! yup - I prefer this to the finger-hole version too, but only because the finger-hole version seems to have very thick scales (I prefer them slimmer cos I have smaller hands). BUt, I think the flat grind will cut like a demon....
