Stag Slippy, I sent this knife over the big pond.

Sambar Stag
ATS34 steel

Closed - 3 3/8''
Open - 6 1/8''

Knife turned out really nice, and you just can't beat stag.

Thanks for the looks, have a great week end.

Ay carumba!! That is absolutely gorgeous. I love the combination of blades. Very versatile.

As always, awesome work.

Wow, and it is going to my pocket located in Sweden! Can hardly wait to have it here Todd!

Todd, your stuff is great. I'm sure glad I bought that folder of yours #236 I think, the one with box elder scales. I look forward to the time when you can post more for sale here. But sadly for me, very talented people like you get swamped with orders and soon your waitnig list will be years long. Someday I will place an order with you and I hope I can do it while you are still taking orders.:D:thumbup:;)

I had a guy wanting to buy this knife from me yesterday, but hey? can you blame the guy? ( I need to mark my web site better )
Just a beautiful knife. I think you did pretty good on this one, if I don't say so my self. I hope you can enjoy it for a long, long time.

Hi swe, congratulations to that folder with this special blade combination. I think it will be a very helpful EDC ! - Or is it going into a glass-box, just for being watched and touched from time to time ???

Ha, ha. No nothing like a safe queen. Actually, I did talk with Todd about the blade combination and asked him what he thought about a sheep blade on a Barlow. I have never seen one on a Barlow before as the second blade but I find the blade type extremly useful. And well, Todd made it happen as the extremly talented craftsman he is. By the way, look at the extendet spring on the sheep blade side. Classy!

I will use this knife in my EDC rotation, the stag will age and be even more beautiful. What I really like with Todds work is that he lets the tang be hidden of the bolsters when the knife is closed. It makes the knife pocket friendly.

One more thing to mention. Todd uses a bushing in his knives now. I am not an expert when it comes to slippies (I am not an expert when it comes to anything) but I think that bushings not are to find in every slippy. I know that Tony Bose uses them – so it cannot be wrong. It would be interesting to know how common they are.

Thanks for the knife Todd!

Nooooo, Just too good to be a user, got to be a safe queen. Great looking knife you have there SWE.:thumbup:

Yes, swe, that is really true - and it is not common, even from the other well known knifemakers !
The lambsfoot-shape is very useful, as you said, for something even better than a wharncliffe - and I am a fan of wharncliffe-blades.

Hi,

I got the Barlow yesterday and I couldn´t be happier with it. A perfect pocket knife, small but strong and with plenty of edge. I have Swiss made watches less precise put together than this knife!

Congrats, swe, :D , I can understand how you must feel now - I felt very happy when I got my 2-bladed #303. Since then it is always with me :grumpy:
