California Buckeye Burl Folder: Serial Number 390
It is 3.5 " closed and 6.25" overall when open:
ATS-34 blade Heat Treated Hollow ground and Cryo with Rockwell of 60-61:
Federal Shield:
Bolsters and liners are Stainless Steel:
Has Milled Liners and a Bushings

-Fit and finish is Outstanding with no found flaws to date.

-Small profile, with a nice size blade in a very small package. Note picture how blade utilizes the entire length of the frame.

-The blade profile/angle is very useful for a EDC, I have taken some pictures of how the angle allows for a comfortable position when trying to utilize the tip. The angle almost gives you the benefit of a swayback without it’s draw backs. I took a picture of a Trapper doing the same notice the uncomfortable hand poison when cutting paper.

-The half stop is flush and very reassuring, if the event of an unwanted blade closure. The spring is of a good tightness, perfect for me a 235 pound man and just a little too tight for my 105 pound wife...ok she’s 108. I like the fact children under the age of 3 can’t get it open, kind of a child proofing got a little one on the way got to start thinking of that stuff.

-This is my 3rd Davison purchase and I am very pleased with what I got for the money and in his price range you get all the regular custom knife bells and whistle, I’m just pointing out some of the little things I like about this little guy.

Hope you enjoyed the review.

Great review and photos. I also have one of Todd's knives a swayback with samber stag scales. Todd's work is on par with the best of them IMHO.

Thank you, I also have a Swayback. I didn't mean to knock it in the review also I just prefer a clip blade as a EDC. Swaybacks are real nice on the eyes, I'm keepin mine pretty.
