This might seem like a screwy question, but I have to ask. Do you hand cut every shield every time, or do you mill the silhouette into a piece of barstock and just cut slices off?

In the past I made my own, now I do have them cut out for me by water jet.
This is the only thing that I have done for me now. ( I do my own heat treating)
Taking a harden template and filing a shield out is very hard to do, and then to inlay a shied by hand is even harder...... but I have done both and KNOW I can do it. - :)

Thank you all for the great compliments.

Nice work, as always!

Kind regards,

Very nice. I like the blade combination. The wood is beautiful and I really like both nail nicks on the mark side.:thumbup:

Looks good Todd!

I am with everyone else, love the spalted maple.

Simply stunning! I'd like to add that to your G10 slippie I just bought last month!
