Say hi to our newest critter. We call him T-bone :D

He's a charolais bull , soon to be steer once the flies subside.

In another year , he'll be t-bones, and ribeyes and fillets and ground. Were grain feeding him with an occasional beer . mmmm

I would love to have one of them T-Bones. I will be cutting up our just before winter. They are great on a open wood fire. Have a great day Mark. I am going back out in the shop to work. Working on 6 knives.:D

......We call him T-bone :D.......

Much more sincere than naming him Fluffy or something. There will be no emotional confusion in the end game this way. :)

Perhaps you could consider then "Meat" or "Chow" in subsequent episodes, though T-bone will provide for a long season's munching, I would expect.

You have fit in well to this rural living, Master Williams.

I vote for naming the next one "delicious".

Are you massaging him like the Kobe along with that beer?

Nice critter, bet it will be dee-licious.

He's a hoot to watch. When I go up to feed him he's usually way up on one end of the pasture near the woods. I just yell for him and he comes hoofin it fast as he can. Loves that sweet feed.

I hope we dont just end up with a great big pet :)

I'm trying to keep Deb away from him as much as possible.

You realize of course, that naming your food is never a good idea in the long run, especially if the wife starts giving him "treats". Just send her shopping for the day! They're cute when they're yearlings, but when they get older, they're snot-dripping shit factories. When us kids were young, dad used to send us to town with grandma because grandpa and him had to 'get us some steak for the winter':D.
