It was suggested to me that I post these here where they might be of more interest (than in the custom knife forum). So many of us love the traditional styles and these two makers, Tony Bose and Tom Overeynder, both have models that fit the bill and have stood the test of time. Here are two I photographed recently for the owners.

And here's a composite of the second knife above, to show more detail.

If both bolsters were engraved like the bottom one, I'd give my left... Well, let's just say I would REALLY like one of those!

Great pictures... The Overeynder is an incredible work of art that anyone would be proud to own and admire. I actually lost track of how long I stared at the pictures of it. When I look at it, I have an urge to grab a Sharps or an 1886 Winchester and head to the woods...

I'm a fairly simple guy though, and the Bose knife just speaks to me on numerous levels.

Nice old Elgin in the picture too. Thanks for sharing. Thats some incredible eye candy

Awesome images, Buddy! Love the first shot of Tony's. His double blade bullet really hits the target.

That Remington-inspired Bose is a true Holy Grail knife for me.
Perfect.

Fantastic work Buddy and thanks for posting both those beautiful knives here. See ya in a couple of weeks.
