T.H.E wallet.

It's not a compartment. It's a means of securing the wallet closed. It is a flap that folds into a pocket into the wallet. It is very functional and I have never had a problem with mine. This is my second THE Wallet as my first was stolen. Really a nice gadget.

Belongs in gadgets & gear.

Also, FYI - they are coming out with a smaller version soon called THE Wallet JR that is meant for normal pockets.

I like THE WALLET but, you would to be Paul Bunyan or just plain huge to put that thing in a pocket. I really like the format of the wallet itself but, it was just too big for my pockets.

I have one from SPEC-OPS that has the shark bite closure.
It holds all sorts of stuff and barely fits in a back pocket of jeans. It also fits my dockers and dress slacks for work. A tad tight, but I don't have to worry about pick pockets either.
Only had it 2 years and the plastic id windows are cracked and splitting apart.
Other than that it is a good one. enjoy, Ken

THE Wallet (standard) will fit in BDU's no problem - it's designed to hold a full sized passport, hence the giant size.

THE Wallet JR is designed for jeans and such, but sacrifices some of the cargo capability. Wallet JRs have started to ship out in small numbers; as usual AAFEES has gobbled up the majority of the production. It will be a good gift for the holiday season.

Myself, I hate wallets in general and have phased out mine - I replaced it with a money clip.

Great minds think alike. I developed a great dislike of wallets quite some time ago. I now have a small leather "wallet" which is basically just two pockets just big enough to hold half a dozen credit card sized cards and folds over to keep them in. Nice and small and hardly noticeable in just about any pocket.

I see, well i ordered it to hold all my business cards and stuff. And everything else i might need. It should fit in the back pocket of jeans. Hopefully. Otherwise, its cargo shorts lower pocket.

I have one (ordered from 1SKS no less) and I love it! Sure, it's HUGE, but it fits in my pockets and carrys lots of stuff.

I do plan on getting something smaller for when a giant wallet is too much, but for now, the T.H.E. Wallet is my top choice!

I've had my "THE Wallet" for a couple years now, and it's held-up very well (after getting the 1st one replaced due to a busted zipper). It fits in the back pocket of my jeans perfectly.

I have THE Wallet and find the coin pouch to be very efficient. Before, I would just put coins in the same compartment as the bills and lose them. The multi-carry positions are a plus, too. And I have a small medkit in the "secret compartment."

I've never heard of THE Wallet Jr. before. Where can one be found? Thanks in advance!

I saw a Wallet JR today and they are indeed a smaller version with the same good construction. Not too shabby - you just lose a few credit card slots and the passport pocket.

I just got one a few weeks ago after my other wallet got stolen. The last one was a Blackhawk wallet. I liked it, but the T.H.E. wallet is much better. This was my second attempt... First time I ordered from Streichers and they sent me the checkbook style, which isn't even in their catalog! But I liked it so I kept it. Then after the Blackhawk was stolen I ordered an OD THE Wallet. This thing is awesome... Although a bit of a tight fit in the jeans. Definitley helps having all those CC slots everywhere. I haven't tried putting my SpyderCard in yet, I'll have to go get it. This thing can hold anything! I could probably even fit one of those little wallet sized first aid kits in there where the passport is supposed to go.
Spec-Ops is my new favorite company...
:)

Spark,
What's the ETA of the JR's? I've been waiting for a little bro to my THE WALLET for a long time :D :D

Lifetime warranty on everything, bud...just get it replaced/repaired;)

Wanted and got one for Christmas last year. GREAT wallet...I hold everything in there. That's exactly what I wanted a wallet for. Even has my spare keys in the change compartment.
